Derek helped us from design to completion, always communication with the owners via e-mail with updated pictures to keep us informed. This made both families feel that they were at the project site. The workmanship was outstanding and all the subcontractors treated this project as if it was their own. Their constant ideas helped the project go from plan to functional reality. We are so glad we reached out to you when we decided to relocate to the Green Bay area back in August of 2005. Despite our uncertainty as to whether we wanted to build or buy existing, you took the time to help us get familiar with the area and shared with us properties that matched our expectations should we decide to build. We saw many great options and were able to easily see ourselves going the building route. After the initial estimates came in, we were worried that we would be back to the drawing board. We had spent so much time creating the “perfect” home for our family that when the numbers came back, the beautiful lot that we impulsively bought, created a much larger excavation and foundation estimate than we could have expected. Because you had your subs come out and physically investigate the lot, you were able to give us a realistic estimate for this work. But you didn’t stop with the estimates-you gave us options. Your organization came up with a great idea to relocate the first floor master bedroom suite above the garage, ultimately eliminating a significant piece of foundation and excavation. Doing this allowed us to keep the remainder of the house in tact and optimize the living space that existed above the oversized garage. But most importantly, doing this prevented us from over-extending ourselves and yet still allowed us to build this beautiful home on a wonderful lot! The months after breaking ground were so exciting for us! We would go out to the house on a daily basis and check in with you, your staff and the subs that were on site. Everyone was extremely responsive to us and never made us feel like the uneducated first time home builders that were there. They answered questions, asked for feedback and provided suggestions along the way. When and where we wanted to assist was always acceptable and we never felt like we were in the way. These months went by quickly and before we realized it, you were getting ready for the showcase. All the hard work that went into the house delivered so much more than we expected! Of course budget was important (and achieved), but quality and service were also critical. We have spent the last six months appreciating the craftsmanship, attention to detail and service (both during and ongoing) that your organization provides. We LOVE our home!
